Marketing Experience Builder
One of my first projects at Terminus was to lead the design of a tool that would allow marketers to build an “experience” across multiple marketing campaigns.
Create a New Experience

Start with templates based on marketing playbooks.

Drag and drop onto the canvas from the left toolbox. The right panel slides out when you select a node.
The experience starts with a definition of the target audience. Accounts are then routed through different campaigns based on engagement metrics.

My first attempt at this design was done quickly based on existing page patterns. This was shown to select customers, who told us that although this design was okay, they wanted the ability to drill at all points of the experience to see what was going on.
I was pretty excited by this feedback because I had an idea in my head that I wanted to explore. What if I took the flow diagram used to build the experience and lay the metrics that marketers were looking for on top?
The new design was tested with customers, and they loved it.
Once an experience is published, marketers can quickly check how accounts are moving through the journey.
